Indian Air Force Agniveer Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:
- Candidates born between January 1, 2005, and July 1, 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible.
- Upper age limit as of enrolment is 21 years.
Marital Status and Pregnancy:
- Only unmarried candidates are eligible.
- Female candidates must undertake not to marry or become pregnant during the engagement period.
Educational Qualifications:
- Science Subjects:
  - 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English with 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English, or
  - Three-year Diploma in Engineering (relevant fields) with 50% aggregate marks, or
  - Two-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics with 50% aggregate marks.
- Other than Science Subjects:
  - 10+2 in any stream with 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English, or
  - Two-year Vocational Course with 50% aggregate marks.

Indian Air Force Agniveer Selection Process

The selection process consists of three phases:

Phase I: Online Test
- Science Subjects: 60 minutes (Physics, Mathematics, English).
- Other than Science Subjects: 45 minutes (English, Reasoning, and General Awareness).
- Science + Other than Science Subjects: 85 minutes.
Phase II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Male: 1.6 km run in 7 minutes, 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats.
- Female: 1.6 km run in 8 minutes, 10 sit-ups, and 15 squats.
Phase III: Medical Examination
- Includes baseline investigations such as chest X-ray, ECG, and blood tests.
